The designers of the Pilot Lounge Chair, Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby, are well-versed in the delicate art of balancing tradition with innovation. "When designing for a company like Knoll, one continuously wonders how to place new ideas into such an iconic collection," they commented. "Our new Pilot Chair not only responds to today’s needs, but also offers an elegant, innovative design for a different culture." The Knoll Pilot Lounge Chair offers a choice of a high or low back seat which features a unique upholstery substructure for greater flexibility, appears to float in the air, giving the chair a refined silhouette and an essential, timeless appeal.

Here is the high back Pilot Chair, with upholstered arms, shown with the Knoll Piton Side Table, also designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby. Here is the high back Pilot Chair, with upholstered arms, shown with the Knoll Piton Side Table, also designed by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby.

Embodying refinement, comfort, and craftsmanship, the Pilot Chair is unmistakably contemporary but modern in sensibility. It features a cast-aluminum structure that links the crane-neck, 360-degree swivel base to the assembly of the seat and back, creating the impression that the cantilevered seat is almost floating. Also designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby and taking cues from the aesthetic principles of modernism and pragmatic considerations of the height-adjustable stools manufactured for sewing professionals in the mid-century era, the Knoll Piton Stool and Side Table are equally well suited for industrial tasks and domestic settings.

The Piton Stool is available in a fixed or height adjustable stool or a side table. It is available in many top and base finishes. They also have an outdoor option. • Menu - clever solutions for modern living

Based in Denmark, Menu's philosophy is simple: they want to make the world better, less complicated, a little bit nicer to wake up to. Right now all Menu products are 20% off until March 31st. Menu is always introducing new products so here are a few new Menu objects to be treasured now… and forever.

The Menu Echasse Vase, designed by Theresa Arns, combines the classic elegance of a traditional glass vase with a playful, light expression. The word échasse is French for stilts – and this round-bottomed vase is anchored to the table by four slender legs that resemble stilts. Menu designers have a mantra, "Expect more from design, we do!" They work with some of the most exciting and driven creative individuals from the worlds of architecture and design to produce high quality design with a crisp Scandinavian look.

The Menu Meet Bench / Table, designed by Norm Architects, is a versatile, multi-use piece, and its name refers to the two stabilizing tubes that elegantly join under the seat. The bench is also just big enough for two people to sit together – and 'meet'. The removable top cover is felt, and the legs are powder-coated steel. The versatile, multiple-use Menu Copenhagen Tray Table combines the functionality of a traditional tray with the elegance of a side table. Designed by Norm Architects for use in the home, office, even the garden, the table is portable and slender enough to slot stylishly into any corner of the room. Menu makes a wide selection of different lighting solutions, from wall and table lamps to pendant lighting and chandeliers. Here are a few new Menu lights to add ambience to your rooms.

The Menu Cast Pendant Lamp takes inspiration from the traditional plumb weight – a weight hanging from a line used by masons and carpenters since Ancient Egypt to establish a true vertical. Hang one lamp on its own or cluster several into an installation. The lamp is available in three variations, and is designed for both commercial and residential use. The Menu Walker Wall Lamp was designed by Søren Rose, based on a trip he took to the Tribeca area in New York City, searching for beautiful old lamps. He used this inspiration to design lamps for The Silo, an urban revitalization scheme in Copenhagen. Menu designs and produces a large range of home accessories, everything to make your day a little bit nicer. From vases to candle holders, plus kitchen and bathroom accessories and very useful objects like coat hangers and warm throws. Here are two new products...

The Menu Darkly Mirror takes us back to the point at which humans began to place importance on the ability to see themselves in the reflected image. Designed by Nick Ross Studio, the Darkly Mirror is available in solid brass or aluminum. The natural marble Menu Hover Bowl can be used as a soap dish in the kitchen or bathroom, as a candle holder, or to hold personal items such as keys. In the dining room, make it the centre piece of your table – all the better to admire the beauty inherent in the natural grain of the marble. Available in two sizes. Menu loves natural materials such as wood, marble and ceramics. They want to make beautiful objects for everyday use, whether that’s an indispensable item of kitchen equipment, a clever floating shelf or a beautiful vase that adds the finishing touch to your living space.

Norm Architects, who designed the Menu Plinth, make bespoke furniture, shelving and podiums that are simple, plain and understated. A box in a natural material, in this case marble, often becomes more a part of the architecture than a piece of furniture that always tend to be more sculptural and expressive in shape. Plinth is designed in white and black marble in three different sizes, cubic, tall and low.
