The Turret Pendant Light is a taller and more slender counter part to the Niche Minaret pendant. The refined beauty of the Turret pendant's dramatic design was inspired by the iconic towers that adorn Moorish architecture. For each Niche Turret pendant, the glass is hand blown and then hand pulled for a perfect tear drop bottom. The Turret Pendant Light is hand made in New York with great care and is ideal for both hospitality lighting and residential lighting.

From an honest need to fill an empty New York storefront with some inspiring display lighting, the Niche founders searched high and low and couldn't find anything decent, so they decided to design their own fixtures. In 2005 they launched their line of unique hand-blown glass lighting at ICFF in NYC, and it was a huge hit. Niche Lighting produces modern glass lighting in warm, translucent hues of blues, plums, greys and ambers. They are as glorious as they are practical – whether dangling over a trendy, city bar scene or an intimate, dining room table. Niche also produces chandeliers and table lights. Jeremy Pyles studied Fine Art in the University of Texas at Austin where he discovered his love for photography and lighting. In 2003 he created Niche Modern. Frustrated with the lighting options available for their Manhattan home-furnishings shop, he and his partner Mary Welch came together and created the hand-blown pendant called the "Stamen". Their light fixture quickly became the store's most coveted item and in 2005, they debuted a line of 10 different lights at the ICFF, ranging in shapes from flattened spheres to bell jars.
Today there are over 20 different pendant shapes, and a variety of chandeliers, each one designed by Jeremy and thoughtfully brought to life through a complex and thorough development process.
