Massimo Sacconi
Massimo Sacconi was born in Frorence where he graduated in the feild of architecture in 1981. In 2001, he started working as lighting designer for Autostrade per l’Italia S.p.a. completing the “evaluation of threshold lighting” according to the UNI 11095 standard of all 518 tunnels in operation and for most of which he also designed the lighting systems.
In 2007, he won the Innovation & Design Award competition with the product Q3Pro by AEC Illuminazione. In 2012 he designed the beautiful Nord Aria Mini Wall Light for Artemide.
Founded in Milan by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza in the 1960s, Artemide is a worldwide leader in lighting design, committed to technological innovation, research, and human interaction. Artemide aligned with the Memphis Design Movement and was an early proponent of LED technology. Ethical conduct and social responsibility are at the heart of Artemide’s values.
