Description
Bee Hive is the product of a collaboration with Duluth-based Lake Superior Honey Co. Our take on the classic residential bee hive adds an element of modern design to your backyard, while also functioning as a practical apiary. We designed the hive with intuitive ventilation, a lockable flat roof to save on costs, tall legs for better ergonomics for the beekeeper, and a sturdier box for the internal wood frames, while maintaining enough “bee space” throughout. The Loll Hive works with off the shelf 9⅛” wood frames. It has an internal separator that you can move as the colony grows. Propolis sticks to the plastic but the solid, non-porous dense plastic allows for easy cleaning. A channeled roof clips on with lockable pins and the overhang makes it weather resistant. An easily adjustable door allows the keeper to increase the size of the entrance. Three sliding ventilation bars are visually adjustable.

- Loll furniture will arrive knocked down or flat-packed to save on costs and resources. Knocked down (partially assembled) and flat-packed products will require assembly. We have gone to great lengths to make assembly very simple. Your shipment will include easy-to-follow instructions and any tools that you need to assemble your furniture. TrueRide, a municipal skate park design and build contractor, created Loll in 1997 to use excess recycled materials from skate parks. The founders built and installed 450 skate parks across the US and globally. Loll repurposed excess ramp material, and the first design was the iconic Adirondack Chair made with post-industrial plastic.
Loll products include chairs, tables, accessories, and more. The designs are durable, all-weather modern, and functional. Materials include recycled plastics from shampoo, milk jug containers, and other post-consumer plastic. Loll is part of the circular economy and recycles more than 88% of their manufacturing waste, along with several other ongoing sustainability initiatives.
Shipping
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within the Continental USA and Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Please contact us for a quote if you are located outside of the Continental USA.
- This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
