Vibia Alpha 7940 Wall Lamp
The designers Ramos & Bassols have created the Alpha lamps collection for Vibia. The Alpha collection is a grouping of small scale wall lights that are characterised by their refined silhouette. Within the Alpha lamp collection are included wall lamps, reading lamps and picture lights.
The Alpha wall light i s surface mounted and easily maintained and so therefore suitable for both private residential as well as contract projects.
Its methacrylate diffuser gives a warm, very cosy light. Alpha follows’ the reader’s movements as it rotates and can be angled, opening up to 75º and turning through 360º, which also enables it to provide indirect lighting.

Ramos Bassols are David Ramos and Jordi Bassols, both industrial designers. The studio started in 2004, after several years of experience in different fields such as urban furniture, tableware, lighting and office furniture. Based in Barcelona, Ramos Bassols offers a personal view on contemporary design, always searching for the balance between form, function and aesthetics. Products with clean lines, yet warm and attractive for the public.
The studio has been granted several awards: Delta award nominations; first prize in the Madrid Furniture Show 2002; Hospitality Design Product 2010 and International Interior Design Association 2010 prize with the Alpha series. More recently, the IF Design award 2015 and the Red Dot Award 2015 have been awarded to the Wing chair.
