From November to March the candles are lit most evenings. A candleholder you use that often should look as good unlit at noon as it does at dinner.
Kubus by Mogens Lassen
Kubus began in 1962 as a private design: Mogens Lassen made it for his family and his architect colleagues. Today Audo Copenhagen produces it in Denmark, with four or eight candle cups. Audo also makes the Clip candle table holder.
Stoneware, marble and flameless light
Blomus makes Vela in stoneware with a matte glaze, in sizes that group well on a sideboard or a windowsill, and the Fraga scented candles to go with it. Tom Dixon's Stone candleholder stacks in solid marble, and Muuto makes the Pair candleholder. For a glow with no flame, Audo's Ignus hides an LED inside a matte bone china shell, with three brightness settings.
