Herman Miller's office and lighting collection at ModernPlanet covers two product families: ergonomic work seating and the Nelson Bubble Lamp series.
The seating range includes the Aeron Chair, Embody Chair, Cosm Chair, Sayl Chair, Mirra 2, and Setu. The Aeron introduced suspension mesh seating in 1994 and is Herman Miller's benchmark for all-day desk work. The Embody uses a pixelated support matrix that follows the spine through movement. The Cosm applies Auto-Harmonic Tilt, a mechanism that calibrates tilt resistance to each sitter's weight without manual adjustment. The Sayl uses a 3D Intelligent elastomer back that flexes independently of the seat. The Mirra 2 and Setu offer a lower entry point while retaining the core ergonomic principles.
The Nelson Bubble Lamps cover the full range of shapes: Ball, Apple, Pear, Cigar, Propeller, Saucer, Orbit, Roll, Angled Sphere, and Lantern, along with the Crisscross variants. George Nelson designed the series in 1952; Herman Miller has been the sole authorized manufacturer since 2016. Each is a hardwired pendant that produces soft, shadow-free ambient light.
