Composed by support with lamp compartment, lampand ballast compartment. Cylindrical lamp support in engineering polymer (compact polyurethane), with co-molded galvanizedsteel reinforcing elements. Painted with polyurethaneresistant to atmospheric and chemical agents. Fixture head in die-cast EN-AB 47100 aluminum, painted with 3-stage outdoor treatment: nanotechnologies, antioxidant primer, polyester paint. UV resistant diffuser in transparent shock resistant polycarbonate. Accessory compartment in polymerswith closure cover in AISI 316. Hot galvanized steel mounting plate, with holesfor ground fixing by means of log bolts or dowels. AISI 316 stainless steel screws and siliconeseal gasket. Alessandro Pedretti
Italy, 1966
Pedretti was born in 1966 in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture. He won the first prize at the “International competition Osram New Light” in 1992 with a project for an innovative energy-saving sustainable lighting appliance. He started to design products in 1995 in the fields of furnishing, office, urban spaces for Italian and international companies, including Abet Laminati, Emmemobili, Ferro, Meritalia, Modo.
Alessandro Pedretti specializes his lighting design activity through the development and implementation of projects for public and private concerns, hotels, retail stores, museums, including the lighting of the high-speed line LAM of the city of Brescia and the interior and lighting design of the 20th-century Museum in Milan, officially opened in 2010.
In 2005 and 2006 designed the set-up for “Star Wars the Show” and for the Show “Looking for…” for the Milan Triennale. From 1993 to 1997 lived and worked in Paris.
