Flensted Viking Mobile
Three graceful Viking ships, with full sails set for the foreign shores. From about the year 800 until 1050, the Vikings sailed far and wide in ships like these. The ships in the mobile are carved from teak.

Christian and Grethe Flensted created the first Flensted mobile to honor their daughter’s birth in 1953. Before, Danish mobiles were seen as a traditional craft. Their inaugural creation, the stork mobile, captured hearts worldwide. Christian Flensted's vision and Grethe's creative flair laid the foundation for a brand that transcends mere decoration, becoming timeless pieces of kinetic art.

Christian Flensted was known as the "Uromager," a Danish term loosely translated as a “maker of mischief,” stemming from his knack for crafting captivating creations in perpetual motion. Flensted Mobiles' hallmark lies in their intricate designs, meticulously engineered to maintain a harmonious equilibrium while each element dances gracefully, epitomizing the essence of Danish craftsmanship.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within the Continental USA and Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
- Please contact us for a quote if you are located outside of the Continental USA.
- This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
