This striking floor lamp includes a Dim-to-Warm function that responds to adjustments in intensity: As it dims, light transitions from a colder blue to a warmer tone, as with a well-loved filament lamp.

“My grandfather had decorated one room of his house in the Scandinavian style of the ‘60s—bare floors, long-haired white rugs—and in it was a Braun record player with wooden side panels. I was impressed by the room and the record player.” – Jasper Morrison
Jasper Morrison was born in London in 1959. He studied at the Kingston School of Art and the Royal College of Art, graduating in 1985. Since 1986 he has opened his Office for Design in London.
Jasper Morrison became a leading figure of “New Simplicity,” a movement that advocated a more modest and also more serious approach to design. In addition to furniture, he has also created lamps, home accessories, textiles, a tram system for the city of Hanover, Germany and a bus shelter for the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein.
Recent projects include the design of the furniture for the Tate Modern in London, the Folding Air-Chair and Low Air-Table for Magis, flatware, glassware and other home accessories for Alessi, the Flos Glo-Ball lighting series and furniture for Vitra.
Jasper Morrison Ltd. is currently based in London and Paris.
Founded in Merano in 1962, Flos is internationally recognized as a high-end modern designer lighting and lighting systems manufacturer for private residential and commercial sectors. They strive to amplify and increase creative lighting solutions. Later collaborations include Achille Castiglioni in the 80s, which established FLO within the industry with the Brera Series.
Flos creations have won numerous awards, including the Compasso d'Oro Industrial Design Award five times. Many now feature in permanent collections of major art and design museums worldwide. Commissions include Venice's Palazzo Grassi and the City of Amsterdam archives.
