The Beetle Chair from GamFratesi was an instant classic when it launched in 2013, and the many new configurations that have been added since have made it suitable to almost any space and type of usage. Reinterpreting the characteristic elements of the beetles’ sections - shape, shells, rigid outsides and soft insides – GamFratesi conceived of a chair that is at the same time striking, refined, and sublimely comfortable. Now, the addition of a pneumatic height-adjustment cylinder to the 4-star meeting chair’s base, with or without castors, makes it even more flexible, able to adapt to the diverse needs of the modern workplace, whether that be at home, an office, or somewhere in between.

GamFratesi
GamFratesi's design takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal and in an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. With their dual traditional background, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach. Gamfratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio is based in Copenhagen.
