MAIL is the ironic collection of wall lamps designed by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella. The "small" version (19 cm) provides indirect light through an LED source.

Valerio Sommella
Valerio Sommella, born in 1980 and graduated cum laude from the Politecnico of Milan in 2004, began his design career working with Stefano Giovannoni. In 2007 he moved to Amsterdam where he joined Marcel Wanders’ team. Since 2009, when he settled down in Milan and opened his design studio, he designs products in different fields, from furniture to consumer electronic goods and lighting both for Italian and international clients. He alternates this activity teaching at some Italian universities and design schools.
Lumen Center Italia is an Italian lamp factory with a semi-artisanal production process. Not a big manufacturer, it is a robust laboratory that pursues excellence, where designers, architects, engineers, technicians, and artisans meet to develop lighting projects inspired by their experiences and fantasies, guided by reason and functionality. International in scope, Lumen Center Italia is always receptive to contemporary ideas and sensibilities. Lumen Center Italia offers lighting systems for residential and professional spaces and is always exclusively made in Italy.
Founded in 1976 in France, but relocated to Milan in 1987, Lumen Center Italia experiments with the “synesthesia among light, color, and sound; the use of alternative lighting sources like OLED; and the study of the interaction between light and human metabolism.” They have also illuminated major works from Leonardo Da Vinci, Titian, Raphael, Bruegel, and Botticelli at the Veneranda Pinacoteca Ambrosiana di Milano.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within the Continental USA and Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.

- This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
