Italy, founded in 1993

Villa Tosca, born in 2001 from the DMC Villa Tosca experience: the research center for strategic design established in Milan in 1993 by the wishes of Matsushita Investment and Development and of the current president Augusto Grillo. He was the founder of the aedo-to.com project – the first designers’s virtual community – and of the Ludea project - collection of sophisticated wooden toys inspired on physical and mathematical principles.

Villa Tosca specializes in intrically designed chandeliars and lighting fixtures. Currently located in Italy, United States and Japan offering consultation, training and research in the field of design for companies and international universities.
