A versatile all-rounder, Gea is a solid and circular suspension, ceiling, wall and floor lamp (named ‘Cosmos’). Designed by Marivà Calvo, Gea’s modest form is smart, self-possessed and clean-cut. A steadfast performer, Gea radiates warmth from its wood veneer sides, the resulting effect satisfyingly serene.

Marivi Calvo
Marivà Calvo (Valencia, 1960) holds a degree in Art History and Fine Arts. She continued her post-graduate studies at the Pratt Institute, New York, specializing in the collagraph technique and in holography at the New York Museum of Holography. Her work has been exhibited in the U.S. and Europe. In 1995, she co-founded Luzifer Lamps along with Sandro Tothill, a family-owned business focused on creating unique wood veneer lampshade diffusers. Since 1995, she has been responsible for the management and corporate image of Luzifer Lamps. Marivà has designed several lamp collections for Luzifer Lamps, such as the Gea, Cosmos, Románicas and Moebius collections. Likewise, she is responsible for the selection and coordination of projects developed by designers collaborating with lzf (Luzifer Lamps), as well as for the design, supervision and installation of exhibition stands, presentations and events for the company.
Valencia-based LZF is a lighting company specializing in handcrafted wood veneer lamps. Founded in 1994, LZF’s offerings encompass a diverse range of lighting fixtures that showcase a deep understanding of materials and form. LZF merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities.
LZF's use of handcrafted wood veneer in their lamps imparts a warm and natural glow but also adds a timeless elegance to their designs. Each floor, suspension, wall, and table lamp reflects LZF’s goal to craft experiences, tell stories, and inspire emotion.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within the Continental USA and Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.

- This is standard curbside delivery; meaning the driver will not haul up an incline or up stairs, and it will be your responsibility to bring the item inside, complete any assembly, and remove packaging debris.
