Alfredo Häberli was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He moved to Switzerland in 1977 and graduated with distinction in Industrial Design in Zurich. Today, he is an internationally established designer based in Zurich and is working for some of the leading companies of the international design industry such as Camper, Georg Jensen, Iittala, Kvadrat, Luceplan, and Vitra. He manages to unite tradition with innovation and his work is strongly influenced by his early childhood in Argentina as well as his curiousness and studies in everyday life. The results are works with a strong expression and emotionality.
Nikari is a wood design studio and furniture manufacturer established in 1967. Their first years were marked by close collaboration with masters of Finnish architecture and design, such as Alvar Aalto and Kaj Franck. The company foundations rest upon the idea of working for bringing out the best of wood in contemporary design.
This item qualifies for free door-to-door delivery within the Continental USA and Canada, with a few exceptions:
- Orders $180 or less are charged a $35 small order fee at checkout.
