HELPFUL NOTES:
Travertine is a natural stone material, which means that every slab varies in terms of vein pattern and color. Travertine has an open surface, which means that if water is left on the surface for a period, it can leave marks. Therefore, we recommend using coasters for items that can leave marks and stains Please do not use cleaning products containing acid on the surface. It is recommended to use cleaning products intended for natural stone. For a more durable surface, an impregnating surface treatment can be applied using stone oil or stone treatment products Extended exposure to the outdoors can lead to color changes and staining. During the winter season, we advise covering the tables with a waterproof cover or storing them indoors Felt finishing on the bottom prevents scratches on the floorBrand
Founded in Copenhagen in 2011, NORR11 builds furniture that refuses to sit quietly in a room. The Danish studio draws on references from across eras and cultures, then resolves them into pieces that read as sculptural without sacrificing comfort. The enveloping Hippo lounge chair, the low-slung Elephant dining chair and the monolithic Oku tables in smoked oak all make the case.
Material honesty runs through the catalogue: solid oak in natural, light smoked and dark smoked finishes; travertine and magnesium-oxide concrete; polished steel and chrome; hand-selected leathers, bouclés and sheepskin. Frames are built to be reupholstered rather than replaced, which is why NORR11 pieces tend to outlast the rooms they were bought for.
