Description
Tilt is designed with a functional purpose, but it is also meant to spark curiosity. While it may appear to be on the verge of tipping over, it stands as solid as any traditional table, serving as a visual reminder that things might not always be as we perceive them.
MEASUREMENTS:
- D13.8 inch x H19.7 inch
MATERIALS:
- Concrete mixed with magnesium oxide
HELPFUL NOTES:
Two sizes available, great for creating various interesting-looking setups. Useful as coffee tables, side tables and plinths. Surface can be slightly uneven and the color may vary slightly due to its unique texture.Brand
Founded in Copenhagen in 2011, NORR11 builds furniture that refuses to sit quietly in a room. The Danish studio draws on references from across eras and cultures, then resolves them into pieces that read as sculptural without sacrificing comfort. The enveloping Hippo lounge chair, the low-slung Elephant dining chair and the monolithic Oku tables in smoked oak all make the case.
Material honesty runs through the catalogue: solid oak in natural, light smoked and dark smoked finishes; travertine and magnesium-oxide concrete; polished steel and chrome; hand-selected leathers, bouclés and sheepskin. Frames are built to be reupholstered rather than replaced, which is why NORR11 pieces tend to outlast the rooms they were bought for.
