Joel Degermark is a product designer who founded the design studio Electric Dreams in 2006 with his partner, Catharina Frankander, who is an architect. He obtained his apprenticeship at both the Royal College of Art in London and at the Beckmans School of Design in Stockholm.
The designs by Joel Degermark and Electric Dreams are often about themes and tell stories. Degermark has always been fascinated about the art of playful exaggerations. According to Joel Degermark and Catharina Frankander they like things that are excessively colourful, crazy, beautiful, dark and simply too much over all.

Named after “mooi,” the Dutch word for beautiful–the third “o” signifies extra value in beauty and uniqueness. Founded by Marcel Wanders and Casper Vissers in 2001, Moooi, pronounced “moy,” inspires and seduces the world with sparkling and innovative conceptual designs. Best recognized for its exceptional lighting and furniture, Moooi also designs storage, carpets, wall coverings, room accessories, and has a lifestyle product line.
